Why they called us
Everyone can build a page with links. The difficult part is a page that loads instantly from a phone on a mobile network, for an audience that arrives in bursts when its owner posts something.
What we built
The whole product: web, mobile, interface, backend, infrastructure and brand. Twenty-two months.
The hard part
Traffic here is not a curve, it is a spike: a creator posts and thousands arrive in the same minute, then nothing for hours. Building for that shape without paying for it during the quiet hours is the whole engineering problem of this product.
What had to be solved
- Traffic that arrives all at once and then disappears
- Pages that must load fast on a phone on mobile data
- Letting people customise without letting them break the page
- Knowing what to show creators about their own audience
