Notification System
Challenge
Finding a way to let the users know about new upcoming offers.
Solution
Build the notification system as customizable as possible (also through keywords). The notification system is built on top of Firebase Cloud Messaging. Specifically, based on customer requests, the system has been designed to deliver different types of notifications. A logic has been studied and developed through which notifications are delivered for each post based on the preferences of the end user, which include preferences on: Stores, Categories, Keywords and specific Offers.
WordPress Bridge
Challenge
Being able to fetch offers from the already existing website and convert to a more readable format for both mobile application and web portal.
Solution
Build the bridge to import the WordPress posts directly into our database that serves the mobile app and the web platform. To do this as efficiently as possible, we have created webhooks, specifically for WordPress, and integrated them into our system, so for example, every new post on WordPress reflects an API call to our webhook, which also loads the post into our system.
